The Guardian invited readers to submit stories of their bosses’ behaviour, to see if they could come close to matching the weirdness of the French government minister (and former presidential hopeful) Segolene Royal. Boy, could they ever. They are hilarious, weird and, overall, deeply depressing. How on earth do some of these fools ever get to be put in charge of others? The ones who own their own businesses have no excuse. They are committing economic suicide if they think they can treat their staff in some of the ways described here.
